Gerard Pique is the latest to feel the weight of the phrase ‘Getting the taste of your own medicine.’ Recent reports suggest Clara Chia had a secret relationship with Pep Guardiola while dating Pique.

The former Blaugrana captain and Colombian pop star Shakira had been together for over a decade, dating back to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. They also have two children, Milan and Sasha. But it was all for nought when Pique cheated on his partner with Clara Chia, an employee at his firm.

Initially, it was thought, Shakira discovered Pique’s infidelity via a bottle of jam in the fridge but later on it was reported that Shakira had actually confirmed her suspicions through a private investigator. The Spanish defender, who was having an affair with his partner then, expressed little regret for his actions. However, the love triangle has taken another turn, with Pique’s actions returning to bite him.

According to Spanish media, Chia has not been loyal to the former Barcelona star. She may have been secretly dating former FC Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola. Guardiola’s children and Chia are said to have gone to the same school in Sarria, which is how he found out about her. Chia allegedly had an affair with Guardiola in retaliation for Pique’s affair with a young lawyer named Julia Puig behind her back.
